All photographs inside this website are the work of English photographer Dennis M. Allen, who has spent much of the last few years taking photographs in South East Asia. He has been based in Malaysia at regular intervals and is a director of Sunspot Productions Sdn Bhd, the constructors of this website.

He first visited Langkawi in 1984 and has been returning at regular intervals ever since. His photographs placed on Sunspot Postcards, have been distributed in Langkawi since 1991.

He considers Langkawi to be a unique and scenic island with friendly and hospitable people, and hopes the area will be carefully developed for future generations of visitors to enjoy.
